Discover Interest Rate Reduction

Chatted with Discover this morning and requested an interest rate reduction. Went from 13.24 to 11.24. I am now under the lowest possible APR for a new account. Pretty stoked since I rarely use my discover now. Data points: This was my first non joint credit card back in 2015 started at a 1K credit line and is now up to 24.5K. I have spent a quite a few over the years but as time progressed I have better credit cards that offer better rewards. So I primarily only use it when its 5% back on gas. Current TU Per their website 768

Grtz on your rate reduction. I didn't realize they went lower than the current lowest possible for new accounts. That's cool.

Very nice rate reduction! Even if you aren't planning to use it right away in the off chance you had to make the really tough choice to carry something on a card the lower the rate the better!

Be sure to set your calendar for 6 months and ask again as they may throw you another bone! XD
