Which CC should I apply for?

I only have one CC at this point in my life. What are the easiest cards to obtain? I am trying to rebuild my score and thought that it would be smart to get one more and keep a low balance on it. Is that correct??

Secured or unsecured?

My scores are all around 610 and I am self employed so I am a bit challenged. I am currently sending out PFD and GW letters to clean things up. I have a decent amount of equity ($300K ) in my home if that will help. Thanks guys!
