BOA Cash Reward CLI Advice needed...

BOA lit up the "Request a credit line increase" on my account. I read a few threads but I still have a few questions.

What's been your experiences? Advice on how I should approach (max limit ask, FR triggers if any, etc.)? Is it HP or SP?

If it just became available on your account, that's a SP offering. Definitely go for it.

Can you provide any additional info regarding your account... how long you've had it, what your SL was / current limit is, where your Fico scores stand, what sort of spend you put on the card monthly, etc?

Ask for what you want, not what you think they will probably give you. It's a soft pull and they will counter so might as well go for the gusto. They are not known for making 4506-T requests.

7-10 day message means a manual review, not an auto-denial.

If you hold any other BoA cards and you get an approval check the CL on your other cards to make sure they did not reallocate CL from your other card(s).

Soft pull and they counter, I got a 3X increase from them originally and more than double the second time. $3k -> $9k -> $19k since June. Go for broke and they counter down.

@Anonymous Ive had acct 3 months, $13K SL and still is the limit. EXP is 786. The spending has been $500-700 a month...

+1. Also that reallocation may take a full day to actually show in your account. The last time I asked for a CLI, I thought I finally broke the $100k mark but then realized the next day that they moved the amount I asked for from my Premium Rewards card to my Travel Rewards card even thought my Premium Rewards card was still showing its original limit after I logged out and back in.

$6k initially, then the link still showed, so I asked for $10k and got countered down to $9100. Second time I asked for $20k and they countered to $18900.

Unfortunately, it is the OP that would give the indication when they're satisfied, not up to you or any of us. As such, just like any other threads, to avoid derailment or hijacking the author's original post, start your own. You've done this in the past when you expressed interest with BoA sometime ago, specifically the Premium Rewards which then evolved into the Cash Rewards discussion.

Also, let's be clear here, @coldfusion wasn't citing a TOS violation, you are well aware what those are. He was simply pointing out (as a courtesy) not to hijack the original poster's thread. That's all.

....went for $40k....they took me to $26,800....basically 2X my SL from 3 months ago...and I have a 0% ApR till next Sept. Maybe that was from day 1...
