Logged into my account and noticed a $3 charge, haven't used it in months. Found out it is the annual fee charged monthly. Called then asked for it to be waived, nope, ok close my account. Credit One usually will waive if for 3 or 6 months at a time. When the refuse out they go.

Nice work on outgrowing your starter cards, and good luck on your journey to bigger and better things! Make sure you watch that account like a hawk for any trailing charges they may try and tack on there on your way out, as cards like that are notorious for doing so. I've read too many horror stories of people winding up with a late payment reporting for an extra monthly fee reporting on a statement that they never noticed!
