topic CapOne Graduated Card CLI? in Credit Cards

Hi:

I had my CapOne card graduate to an unsecured card last month, but even though I wish I could've thrown a bigger deposit in when I got it around May 2016, but divorced happened and I was destitute, so I never got the chance.

I immediately tried to request a CLI after graduation, but I got an email saying it's not the right card type, despite the fact that it's now considered a normal Platinum card.

Will this card be $500 forever, or can I do something about doing a CLI in the future? I don't want to cancel my oldest card either, and my 2nd oldest card is only 2 years old. I also don't really care about it enough to lose sleep over it if I can't, but I'm just curious. Thanks!

Formerly secured Cap One cards typically do not see any kind of increase past whenever you got during the "steps"

It will probably stay as is untill you're ready to close it.

Don't sweat it, these cards are only meant to help you rebuild, they are not BFFs. Once you have better, more useful cards, close it.

Meanwhile, unless you've already done so, see if you're eligible for PC to QS (not the wretched QS1), so you can at least get some cash back.
