BBVA Clearpoints CLD

Just noticed today my CL went from $3400 to $800. Been making min payments on a 9.9% promo.

My balnace is $747.00 and now my util is like 95%. Also min payment went up from $27 to $57.00.

Looks I'll close this account asap. Nothing but BS!

Sorry about balance chasing, but making minimum payments for extended period of time is an invitation for AA, especially if you're taking "advantage" of other promos.

It's unfortunate, but you should not be upset at them.

I created an account just for this. I also have a BBVA card with the credit limit reduced last week. In your post history I noticed you have an Ollo card. I called BBVA and they said they received information from Experian about a charge-off. I'm sure you aware of the information about Ollo reporting incorrect information to Experian. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, FTC and BBVA USA themselves and I'm just waiting for their response (requested they return my credit limit since their decrease was based on false information from Experian/Ollo).

Try calling BBVA to see if they closed it because of Experian.

I called bbva and was told a CRA alerted them to something they don't have any info on.

Checked my exp. and shows nothing wrong. My scores are 740 all across the board. Even got like 4 cli's in the past 3 months from other banks.

Just to confirm, is your OLLO account unaffected by the recent erroneous reporting events? What's your utilization on other accounts?

my ollo is fine balance $62 and CL the same.

util 29% across a bit higher than before

Your Experian is fine now because they fixed it on their end. It looks like they notified BBVA before fixing it, though. This is the e-mail I got from Experian:

You recently received an alert regarding negative information on your Experian credit report. A system issue caused some Ollo accounts to be reported incorrectly for a short period of time on February 1st, but the information has since been corrected. You may have noticed this message in your alert center, but don’t worry—it has been removed and your credit report is now updated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is the email I got from Ollo:

Following our systems issue, some Ollo accounts incorrectly reported as "closed", "derogatory" or "past due" at Experian. Know that any misreporting has been reversed and fixed as of Tuesday morning. We confirm your account reports as it should at the bureau. Your credit score, if ever impacted, also shows the correct information. If you use a credit monitoring service, please understand it may take a few days to reflect your corrected account status.

I sent this all to BBVA and I'm waiting for a response.

Now you call them and see if they would be willing to SP your report again and let them know it's was another lender's error and that you have received written communication from lender in question.

I called BBVA and they said they are aware of the problem. Half a million people got hit with a CLD and they are waiting for Experian to confirm the system error. Rep said I'll make a note of it- started typing and phone went silent then clicked and hung up on me.

Love The great service they provide..

I had the same Ollo card false report on my Experian and a subsequent CLD at BBVA (1800) a day later.

It's time for some action against Ollo for this serious damage.

BBVA restored my original credit limit as of this morning. Hopefully all of yours will be too before they report to the bureau.
