I have a question regarding SUB's for the Amazon Prime Visa. My DW is interested in applying, but is interested in mazimizing the SUB. I have seen SUB's vary from $50.00 (I am currently offered $70.00 on two accounts) to $150.00. Has anyone noticed a pattern to the amount of the SUB, seasonal (holidays), spend amout on the Amazon website or any other factors? Thanks!

Guessing more less season as higher subs i usually see are around the holidays meaning december for both prime store card and chase card

Thanks CC, I was thinking this was the pattern but I thought I had seen it bounce around during the year. This morning I logged in to my Amazon account and this came up "Plus, get 5% back everywhere else on up to $2,500 in purchases
for the first 3 months from account opening, and a $70 Amazon Gift Card instantly upon approval*"

An extra $125.00 is not bad in addition to the $70.00, so we will pull the trigger on this offer.

Yes, it's good but I wouldn't value it as $125 extra, more like $75 if you already have a 2% card. But certainly better than just the plain gift card!
