First Tech CU Pre-approval

Afternoon friends,

So i just received an email from First Tech CU saying that i was pre-approved for a Choice Rewards World MC. Does anyone know if this is a soft pull offer or just a promo offer that will incur a hard pull? I'm trying to limit any potential dings to my score as i will be looking for a home later this year and i've been in the garden for 4 months.

I read through the "fine print" and it didn't clearly say another pull was going to take place.

My understanding is that it'll be a HP. I would say to expect it either way. If you don't want to incur any unnecessary pulls prior to the mortgage process, then hold off until that's out of the way.

Id say a home trumps a cc so id wait until you get your home before getting a cc.
