Actually they have recently changed to running a fresh SP daily every time you ask now. When you apply, as soon as you chose "decline" in the offer window it automatically closes and discards that application. If you were to apply the next day they will SP your TU, Chex, and CoreLogic reports all over again. I did actually verify this myself a couple of times now. Others that have tried it multiple days in a row have posted that their approval terms have actually changed on a daily basis. I haven't tried it consecutive days, however a few times in a 30 day period has resulted in fresh pulls each time for me. I would not worry about them using outdated info.

Out of curiosity, I am wondering if the community has deep data on SL's on the Apple Credit Card. Specifically, I would like to know if a cart loaded with more expensive items is more likely to be approved with a higher SL than someone only trying to by a cheaper item(s). This has worked with other SCT-type cards in the past. I understand Apple tells you in advance what your APR and CL will be but I'm wondering if anyone has seen the SL change when checking on two different devices with carts loaded with different amounts of items.

Does anyone here know or has anyone tested the different scenarios?

Of all the posts I've seen on this so far, I have only read that loading up the cart can change a denial into an approval. I have not read about someone loading up their cart with more/more expensive items and having their offered SL increase because of it. Actually I've read a few where the OP was at first denied, then loaded up the cart which resulted in an approval, but the offered SL from GS was far less than was necessary to cover the items in the cart. If there are examples out there, I'm curious about that too. I'd give it a whirl myself, but with my luck I'd proceed one screen too far out of curiosity and inadvertently become the proud new owner of 1 of every item Apple offers.

Yeah, I would do it myself but I heard that once you even check, they soft-pull you and once they do that, they won't re-check you for several months. And who knows if my score could improve in the next few months and I decide to apply? I'd rather only give them that data when I have already decided to apply.
