Indeed it will just come down to underwriting. The only firm rule for cards is the "one Sapphire" policy they instituted a few years ago, but since you mentioned PCing your previous cards and no longer have a Sapphire product you won't have to worry about that. Bonus eligibility is 48 months for CSP and CSR; so if you opened your previous cards since then, I would wait. (You mentioned 3 years but wasn't sure if that was since the PCs or since opening and receiving a SUB.)

Is there a limit on how many Chase cards they will allow you to have at one time?

I want to apply for the CSP. I currently have the Hyatt, Freedom, 2 Freedom Unlimited, Ink Preferred and Ink Unlimited.

I previously have had the CSP and CSR, both over 3 years ago and later did PCs to Freedoms.

No hard limit on number of cards to own with chase, but there is most likely a total credit limit

There's definitely people with upwards of 10

It does just come down to UW, though it'd appear the $$$ exposure (think 100-150k+ is always manual review, same with those who have other factors like borderline DTI) is much more important than quantity of cards
