Citibank Diamond Preferred Balance Transfer Check

If I apply for the Citibank Diamond Preferred card, can I receive a balance transfer check or aka convenience check? I've tried calling their applications number and 2 reps have told me that there are no current offers and 2 other reps are pointing me towards customer service. A rep from customer service then said yes, it can be done after the approval process and to call them to process it or it can be done on the login page of your account. Another customer service rep pointed be back to the applications team so all in all, there's a mixed bag of answers and I'm not sure which one to believe!

Is that card in particular advertising a BT deal when applying? If so then you should get the offer. I know when i had my simplicity card I could request the checks online to be directly sent to me.

Thanks for the response! When you refer to deal, it says Get 0% Intro APR for 18 months on purchases and balance transfers. After that the variable APR will be 14.74%-24.74%, based on your creditworthiness. *
Balance Transfer Fee: Either 5$ or 3% of the amount of each credit card balance transfer, whichever is greater.*

Balance Transfers must be completed within 4 months of account opening.

Is that what you're referring to? If so, it should qualify for the balance transfer check offer right?

Yes it seems like they are offering that BT when applying as for the BT check option I don't have experience with that particular card but they did offer me checks when I had a different card.
