Discover APR reduction.

Hopefully all here are having a wonderful Memorial day.

So actually for a change have some downtime from my real job. I can't apply for any new credit as building a new house and need to still get the "thrill". So figured little victories are still victories so a bit bored trying to decide what to do with some of my CC's I realized I haven't bugged Discover for awhile on an APR decrease. Had a small balance a few days ago of $1200 left on a BT and paid it off this last friday. Popped on chat and asked for an apr reduction. I got one it wasn't much, but below their advertised rate. Actually my last APR was at 11.24 apr which is also below the rate I got a whopping .25% percent decrease. I will take it though as enjoy small victories. Hope this helps someone that is bored and what not. Current TU08 FICO approx 820ish. I know others on here have to have lower APR's due to an older card with them I think this one started out around 16.x and then Fed rate decreases and asking one other time and now here is where it lands. Doubt I will ever be able to get lower than this. Think I have about 5 other cards with lower APR's, but this isn't awful. Only time I carry a balance still is if a BT or an intro 0% APR. Although one never knows when one might still need to carry one on the best terms possible.

Congrats on another nice step down in APR! That's awesome. I've asked Disco via chat for an APR reduction on two separate occasions and have been told both times that APR reductions were not something that could be discussed through chat with me, and that I would have to call and speak to a CSR to request it. I wonder if my account is in a different bucket than yours and others. People talk about Cap1 buckets all the time, but not as much about Disco. They still exist though.
