Does Walmart capital one offer upgrades to MasterCard version ?

If you get the store only version when you apply then no. I have the World Mastercard version.

Last year I reached out to Cap One about this same thing, it was a no. But then if I try for a pre-approval on the Walmart Mastercard, it tells me I already have too many Walmart card accounts (not actually apping though).

So I don't know if I'd have to actually close the store card before applying for the Mastercard or not
