CLI weekend pt 2 - Macys Upgrade Offer

I guess the giving doesn't stop. I went in to pay my Macy's bill after getting the increase. And I notice this ....

This would be awesome to get with the limit that I was just increased too. I'd actually use it more but not actually at Macy's LOL!

I'm sure others here have been through this process of upgrading this card.

You can ignore these questions, I used the search. LOL!

Is there anything that I should know?

Any tips or advice?

Will it be a HP to upgrade?

Congrats on your Macy's CLI and the upgrade offer . . . I've read on several posts that it is a SP and a fantastic card to upgrade to . . . LOL, I'm still waiting for my offer!!!

Congrats on your upgrade. I just received my upgraded Macy's AMEX card yesterday!

You keep the same CL, account terms and the upgraded card replaces your current account on your CR, so no new account or HP. It's a great upgrade. Seems Macy's/DSNB is doing these upgrades in droves!

Thanks everyone!! I appreciate all the luv!! I definitely think I'll be upgrading this. I'm planning a home renovation project so I could use this if needed & won't have to bother getting an HP with Home Depot.

Thanks! Unfortunately, Macy's upgrades are automatic; you can't request one. Nobody knows for sure what the requirements are. When you are eligible, you will see a banner when you login to your Macy's account. I hope it happens soon for you!

@Sax2610 I didn't do anything. I only requested an increase a few days earlier. When I went back into my acct a few days later to pay it, the offer was there. I would assume since you are at 10k, you should call and see if you can request an upgrade to Amex.

So from everything that I've read from this forum, you shoot for the moon with them & they will counter. I originally requested 7k to make my total 10k but they countered with 6k. Good luck!!
