Synovus Cash rewards becoming a VS card

Just got a letter today that the Synovus Cash Rewards cards is now becoming a signature visa instead of I guess a platinum? My CL started out at 18k where it still is at today. For those that are interested assume everyone will be eligible for the update account is close to two years old as far as i am aware was never a signature card before and new ones at least in my case mentioned it will be here sometime in August. Doesn't matter to me as have plenty of them being signatures, but others might find it nice?

Definitely a nice change for sure! I suppose they might be standardizing the tier levels on that particular card? That's on my wish list of future potentials.

Are they offering any additional VS perks as part of the change?

Additonal Benefits for this card although as mentioned rarely use perks than my CSR (primary rental car and the likes)

*Visa Signature Concierge Service

*Travel and emergency Assistance services

Pretty standard stuff as link to visit which is visa-signature.com/vc/benefits.

Synovus is a great bank though so far and no complaints at also free checking, etc.

That's what I was thinking... so nothing groundbreaking.

The probably just want the higher transaction amount.

Good news! My Synovus Travel Rewards card is a Signature VISA, but it's good to see the Cash Rewards will be too. I'll probably be getting that card sooner or later anyway, but will definitely be getting it sooner than later if PNC changes the ClearPoints card.

New Signature card came today BTW for those that have the Cash Rewards cards and now is a VS. About as much excitement as I can hope for currently as still can't apply for new credit for another 3-5 months :/. So these are my exciting things these days I suppose scores increasing is neat as well. So if you had a regular card and met the criteria the new card should be arriving if it hasnt already.

Yeah I got another card from them yesterday, but mine was already VSig. Same number and expiration and everything. I was wondering if they had a glitch and sent me a replacement card by mistake. I guess I just got one too many VSig upgrades.

It'll sit in the sock drawer along with the other one.

Yours started out as a VS? Interesting if so and how old is it? Mine is about 2.5 years old and started out 18k.. Not sure if it wasnt offered when I applied for mine initially? Anyways interesting news as thought was just a plain jane platinum card before my upgrade.

Mine didn't start out as a VS. I was converted not too long ago. Can't remember when.
