Asked the agent if any offers were available on my account...

He offered me 12 months 0% interest on new purchases. I accepted.

Pretty Standard for Discover to offer these promotions depending on current standing

Nice, i wouldnt call it standard because not everyone gets that offer. Just feels standard lol. Not many banks would do this so as @tcbofade would say " YEAH DISCOVER" 😆

The unique thing about discover is after some time elapses you can sometimes get another 0% promo on new purchases for 12 months... rinse and repeat... Kinda like how some folks anticipate the Navy holiday offer... Not a lot of cards offer you another round or more of 0% goodness...

Discover's always been good to us.

Pretty cool they will run these offers from time to time. Discover often targets subprime borrowers who might need an extra push to spend compared to Amex/Chase cardholders.

Wooohoooo! Thanks to both @trvlscmmr and @JNA1! I chatted with Discover and I too qualified for this promo. Unfortunately, a glitch happened after I said that I accepted the offer, so not sure if it's active yet. I'll check tomorrow....time to call Navy....AGAIN!

The only gotcha is you have to wait between 0% offers, try to time it early enough so i can waint for the next one... I tend to like to use them for holiday shopping.. =) Think iv had 3 or 4 now... They are also really useful if you time it to stack with a BT.... You can basically use the card wile it holds a BT if you have a stacked 0% on purchases... =)
