FNBO VISA REWARDS

I recently received impressive looking offer for their Visa card stating "only a select few are receiving this invitation" Card not even showing up on website. Just how prestigious is this card? check preapprouval and come up 15k, so press the trigger and waiting now

Based on what is in the mailer, I think you would be better off with the evergreen since its a 2% CB card where that appears to be a points card worth 1% per their wording.

Agreed. I see nothing outstanding about this card from what the mailer details.

This is the exact thing that happened to me I applied from the mailer and was approved for that same card for a cl of $11,300. I applied from the mailer since the pre approval site from FNBO is known to be not totally accurate and it seems like it gives everyone a CL of $15,000. You can find that post here FNBO keeps it going! - myFICO® Forums - 6371768. So you applied for the Evergreen? If it went pending you can check the app status here View Application Status (firstnational.com). Can't tell how how prestigious this card is though I could not find mention of the card anywhere else. They're have been have a few posts about this card but it is pretty limited. I would recommend applying for the Evergreen over the rewards visa as the evergreen has better rewards as the other posters said.

They can claim it as being "prestigious" or "exclusive" all they want but it looks like an extremely lackluster card, pretty much any rewards card will give that much rewards ( i.e. 1%) as a baseline in addition to higher rewards in certain categories.

Don't let marketing people make decisions on what credit cards are best for you.

I would not accept the mailer and go with the evergreen as its a 2% flat card

Agreed. All the "prestige" of that 1% back card wouldn't even net you a cup of joe.
