Walmart store card access

Anyone able to access their walmart store card account? i have tried for the past week and getting the error 500.

I just checked my card through CapOne and the Walmart app and both are working for me.

Where are you getting the error? Is it through the Capital One app on your device or through a desktop? If on a desktop, have you tried a different browser?

I get this message : Our system is experiencing technical difficulties at the moment. Please try again later. Code: 500

For the past 2 weeks I think

Has sometning changed with the card? I have the regular store card, not a mastercard.

Edit: I went on capital one and it said account is closed (Walmart REwards). Never even knew they closed it. I swear it was open and i used it this year itself.

The same exact thing happened to me a couple of times but with the target red card. a cc company rep guided me around it. since its a similar type store card this may work.

go to the online store site. somewhere on the page there should be a link to the credit card. click it and you should be in, then just replace that page with the one in your favorites.

I called the number at the back of the store card and it brought me to a capital one number. Wehn i put the last 4 of my card number, it tells me that he account is closed. I'm shocked to say the least.

Looks like its no longer Synchrony bank but now capital one and I dont have any communication that said my card was going to be closed. That walamrt card had a 10k credit limit on it and i used it many times and paid in full everytime. I'm speechless

Talked to capital one they told me that the card was closed after it got transferred. I was sent a letter back in June 2021. Well I wasn;t home that time since I had uncle sam duties. Told them that and nothing. Sorry but you will have to reapply. I had the walmart card since 2010 and that is how i am repaid for my loyalty.

That makes sense. The link you provided is to SYNCB (not Capital One) as you found out. Also, as has been mentioned upthread, if your account experienced a period of inactivity, then it was likely closed. SYNCB has reduced the timeframe on inactivity closings to ~6 months (give or take) for a plethora of accounts so it is fairly possible it was closed prior to it migrating to Capital One.

You can likely view the statements on the Capital One website for your Walmart account to view/confirm the last time it was used since there should be about 12 months of statement data.
