Fnbo closed my account

I was checking my CK as I always do and noticed that FNBO closed my account on 9/22/21😡 This account was in perfect standing and opened for 11 months. No letter as of yet but was not expecting this😳

that sucks - especially since no reason was given. Hopefully you can get this resolved somehow.

I just got approved for the FNBO Evergreen card; I hope nothing like this happens with my account.

Nope . I had used for small bts paid them off used card a little . My credit is still very good low utilization etc. who knows?

Have you confirmed with the fnbo site that it is really closed ? Sometimes ck reports these things incorrectly

Yes I immediately checked on their website no available credit .

I am sorry this happened to you. This is why I have a lot of cards with many lenders. So if one does such a thing it has no bearing on my profile or scores.

Yes called them it's closed wouldn't say why I should receive a letter in the mail.

Hmm, pretty rare that FNBO would just shut down an account. Am interested to know the reason(s) when you get that letter.

I'm interested in this, as well. Just this very morning I received an email from them stating that my Ducks Unlimited card (which is technically First Bankcard, including the app) is officially changing its name to FNBO. The website address will change for me and the app will have to be replaced with "Card by FNBO". This will occur on Sept. 26.

I'm always on edge, thinking my grandfathered DucksUNL card will be discontinued or something strange like your situation might happen. So I'm curious to know their reasoning behind the closure.

I also received an email this morning stating my FordPass Rewards card is having the name change thing, but no mention of a new web address or app. I was wondering if what happened to Jnbmom may have been somehow be connected to this situation with the name change, but most likely just coincidental.
