Debunked - I will leave this list up for the thread lurkers who want a good 2% - 3% cashback CC. This list is by no means exhaustive, and I am no longer keeping it LIVE updated.

I want to start by saying I'm a firm believer in correlation doesn't imply causation, and I have stated this many times inside this thread. This is one reason I enjoy posting DP's and getting information to help everyone make an informed decision.

To the Meat and Potatoes:

~~Has anyone else noticed an issuer pattern for the 2% - 2.5% no category Consumer Credit Cards (CC) recently? They're mostly, if not all, Mastercard (MC).~~ I have formulated a minimal list below, and I'm sure this can be debunked with all your help. ~~I will try and keep the list live updated if this thread becomes popular.~~

State Department FCU's Premium Cash Back+ is a 2% Visa

AOD Credit Union 3% card is Visa. NFCU Flagship (2x base w/ 3x categories) is Visa. Double Cash, arguably the most prevalent 2% card is MasterCard. I don't think network has anything to do with it, other than a lender's preference for one over the other. Visa and MC Interchange rates are quite comparable, with MC business products skewing higher than that of Visa.

With reasonably low asset thresholds to get 2.25% or 2.625%, BofA Travel and Premium Rewards are both Visas.
