Upcoming NFCU balance transfer promo?

I'm trying to do some planning. Does anyone have any insight on whether Navy will be offering 0% balance transfer offers at the beginning of the year? TIA

In 2018, they did.

In 2019, they did.

In 2020, they did.

In 2021, they did not.

I'm hoping that was pandemic related and that balance transfer offers will return in January of 2022.

I sure hope so; but if not, I'm going to apply for a platinum (MC), which has a 0% BT offer for 12 mos. that expires January 3.

Looks like Platinum and More Rewards has the 12 months for 0% at the moment. The Platinum has been so beneficial in my wallet. I used it recently to transfer balances from AMEX to the Platinum at 5.99%. I've had the card for the past 4 years now and use it whenever for BT since there's 0% transfer fee and low APR.

They did at least offer most (all?) Flagship holders 1.99% with no fee earlier this year. Not quite 0%, but better than than most lenders offer for existing cardholders. Could very well have been a pandemic-related decision with Flagship holders generally being a slightly lower risk due to the underwriting requirements.

@K-in-Boston , I believe that was targeted to only a few peeps. I have the flagship, and wasnt offered it at all. When I called in and inquired about it, they said "it wasnt offered to all card members". I was like...yea, I know, I was one of them. Sure hope they come back for everyone again.

For what it's worth, I got the same offer on my Go Rewards Visa.

I only got the Flagship 1.99% on travel purchases for 6 months
