Is there a Credit Check Macy's Joint Account Application - Soft pull or Hard Pull inquiry?

Hello All.

I am an AU for my hubby's good standing Macy's account since 2008. However, upon reviewing my CR, the Macy's account is not listed on my report.

We called Macy's 1-800 number and asked about it. The CSR they do not report AU accounts any longer. Then, sent us a form for me to fill out for joint accountholder. Asking for all my info. Name, add, SS#, DOB, etc.

Does anyone know, once I fill that out, will they conduct a credit check? If so, is it soft pull or hard pull inquiry?

Also, how soon does it reflect on my CR once added as a Joint Accountholder.

Your advise is greatly appreciated.

That is weird I added my mother as a AU on my account and it shows on her CR.

I added my husband to mine as an AU 10 weeks ago - it showed up on his CR this week...

Sounds like somebody doesn't know what they're talking about and I would like to know that this works.

How long ago was this addition made?
