Comenity Card Offer

Now through December 31st you can earn unlimited 3% cash back for resturant purchases when you use your comenity mastercard. I actually enjoy this card and sometimes swipe it. I also consider it my 2nd Cap1 replacement since it's 1.5% back its behind fnbo evergreen which is 2%. I may take comenity up on this offer. It's a good offer to do during the holidays. All though I would not have been upset if it was 3% back from amazon, target, etc.

@Rudy1 @I enjoy that Comenity card too and their pop up offers. In the spring they had a nice 3% grocery one and I didn't have an active category for that or my BCP yet. I like how you can get CB starting at $10 too. Did you activate your DISCO It for this quarter? 5% on Amazon, Walmart and Target (I know you got Target covered w the RC)

Was reminded of this offer again today. Currently have tunnel vision with AMEX BCP getting 4x bonus on top of normal CB thru the end of the year) but 3% restaurant is great if no other cards in the profile can beat it. Comenity doesnt get much love around here, but they do some good pop up bonus CB offers.

I ended up getting a pre-approval letter in the mail for this card earlier this year and went for it. They recently changed their Cash Back redemption from $5 increments (meaning you had to have $5/$10/$15/etc. cash back to redeem a statement credit) to no minimum and can be redeemed any time instead of once per month, which is great. CLI link becomes available after 3 months but my first CLI was automatic. SL isn't too high but this easily sends my CapOne QS to the permanent sockdrawer.

I got this card as part of the Wayfair closure. I enjoy it way more then any Cap1 Card in fact I closed my two QS1 and QS due to them being bucketed and no longer worth it. I did notice you no longer have to have a minimum amount when I was looking around the website. I used it sometimes and I have taken advantage of this offer however for general purchases my Evergreen beats it out.

@Rudy1 @Anonymous thanks for the heads up on change to no minimum redemption! That influences me to prioritize a card more. I had received this card as part of the Wayfair closure too. I'm confused about wheteher Wayfair still has a credit card with another issuer? Never missed it enough to check. Anyway, Comenity will surely be dusted off shortly once some referral bonuses Im working on expire.

@PandaGirl77- the Wayfair store & MC credit cards are now issued and managed by Citi Retail (same entity that issues the Best Buy, Home Depot, Sears, Exxon/Mobil, Meijer CCs, etc.).

Oh no problem @PandaGirl77! As Finstar said below Wayfair's Store Card + MC are now through Citi Retail. I thought about getting it when it first came out but I decided to skip it. I was pre approved last time I checked for the Store card but I don't want a small limit hp cli wayfair card. I think switching to Citi was a bad decision for Wayfair but I can't really complain I got a new card from it rather than having my account closed.

@SPChaser - any customer-initiated upgrade requests are not possible, unfortunately. Although rare, sometimes store cards can graduate to V/MC depending upon certain targeted promotions, such as going from the Ulta store card to the Ulta MC as an example.

As far as changing a particular card such as KayJewlers to anything else, no.

Thanks @FinStar it's my last store card and I was entertaining the possibility of getting rid of it one day, but if that's not possible, it's all good.

@Anonymous, how many months in was that automatic cli?

Right after the 3rd statement cut. Just recieved another CLI a few days ago just over 4 months after the auto CLI but it wasn't automatic this time.
