Citi Aadvantage to Custom Cash product change

Not sure if this is the right board for this, please feel free to move if I was incorrect!

I've had the Citi Aadvantage Platinum Select since 2018, and since i picked up the Barclays Aaviator for the easy bonus I decided to try and change the Citi card to the Custom Cash. It took all of ten minutes once i got them on the phone. It's already showing in my account!

This will come out of the sock drawer for 5% back on grocery for the 3 quarters where discover and freedom flex do not cover grocery lol.

Thanks for sharing this information as I will probably do the same after about a year or two since I just got the citi card at the beginning of the year!

Hey guys I'm also thinking of PCing from DC, can u do it on line, and is there a time limit, I've had this card for almost 9 months. How long did the card take to arrive, and can one immediately use it on Google Pay, thx. I'm traveling in a week.

Did your Double Cash card have an introductory offer, such as a 0% on BTs and/or purchases? If so, you have to wait until that promotion expires before a PC can be entertained (regardless if you are carrying a balance or not). Optionally, you can always reach out to them and see if you'd be eligible.

There is no special number to call for PCs. Just call the number on the back of your CC.
