Nice Sears MC Offer (Targeted)

Got this mailer this week from my Sears Thank You Points MC: $60 statement credit for each month in March, April & May for up to $180 total in statement credits! By my calculations that a 40% 'cashback' on $150 in purchases (5 x $30 purchases). Now, unless you use the calculator on your phone it would pretty hard to make a $30.01 purchase in a brick & mortar store, so I plan to do online. My car insurance renewal is due 3/13, so 5 payments of $30.01 is pretty easy to do - my Progressive Insurance policy allows smaller, multiple payments. For April & May I'll have to look at what I have upcoming. My electric utility and T-Mobile cellular both allow smaller, multiple payments, but I have those going to my US Bank Cash+ or MaxCash cards for 5% cashback, so I prefer something that would normally go on one of my 2% cards.

So keep an eyes open for a mailer from Citibank Sears MC, very nice offer!

Insofar as percentage of spend being returned as a reward from a single promotion this is as good as I can remember ever seeing on a Sears MC - congrats!

Citi has become even more aggressive with offers over the last 4 months or so, with a little more luck you may get another one over the last couple of months that you'll be able to stack at least for 1 month.

They have gone so far as to send reminders for offers I had already accepted on the card which is kind of lolwut but nice they let you know just in case

Yes but through online sales with a few handfuls of stores and a bunch of affiliated Sears Hometown stores
