Since it's not happening to me, and we don't see an onslaught of posts from others about it, I'm guessing it's just you. The old tried-and-true method of deleting your browser's cache and cookies, closing and restarting it, may be worth a try. If that doesn't help, there are more things to try but they depend on operating system and browser.

If you try the above and it still happens, please post again. In the meantime, if you have the app already installed, or are willing to install it, I'd try it and see what happens. If it does *not* happen there, it strongly points to an issue with your computer/browser.

You guys are awesome! That was annoying me bc I check my accts a lot and the site logs you out after a few mins. LOL.... I don't know if this was the issue, but I had the same device name listed twice and only one of them was labeled as the "current" device. I told the site to forget all devices. I logged out, logged in again, and checked the 'remember me' box again. It asked for a verification code. I've logged in and out a few times and was only prompted for a code during the first log in. Even the page that asks for the verification code is back to normal. Now that I think about it, before, it listed my contact info twice, once for each of the duplicate devices. Thanks again!!

My phone plan has unlimtd text, but it's just annoying. And that doesn't work for me, in "Manage Two-step verification" I only get the option to Forget Device, with my PC and Phone listed.

But I've also been having that problem with other financial sites, especially my local CU. But a part of the problem is that I live on a rural property and cellular is my best option for Internet, I have T-Mobile Home Internet. With a wired internet connection, such as cable or DSL phone line, they usually assign you a fixed IP address associated with your geographic location. With cellular internet they assign you random IP addresses from their various data centers around the country. I can tell when I run a speed test whether my IP address is from T-Mobile's data center in Dallas, Chicago, or Los Angeles. When I had Verizon's Visible service they always had me in somewhere in Kansas; i don't think I'm in Kansas anymore.

Last year when I applied for a Max Cash card it went into review. When the rep called a day later, after I verified my identity she asked if I was travelling when I applied. I told her No, I was at home sitting in front of my Windows PC, and she said "well, we have your IP address as you being in Los Angeles". So, I explained the rural property & T-Mobile internet and she approved me.

And I do legal sports betting in Arizona, and their system has to verify you are physically located within the state before they allow you to place a bet. I quickly figured out using my PC doesn't cut as it uses my T-Mobile gateway router for an IP address; I have to use a mobile device that uses the GPS system to verify my location.

I recently bought an Android tablet with GPS as using my phone to type in a bunch of stuff is a pain. I'll start using my tablet to access my banks & CCs and see if that helps.
