Yes I got that today.

But I'm not going to use it, because I have a balance transfer outstanding. I believe when you have a balance transfer outstanding, you lose your grace period on purchases, which takes away the value of getting the cash back.

Maybe that's why I was targeted.

I got a completely different offer a few days ago:

5% cash back at Restaurants and PayPal

July-September, on up to $1,500 in purchases. Plus, you automatically earn unlimited 1% cash back on all other purchases.

Don't forget, Restaurants includes delivery services like Grubhub, Postmates, Uber Eats, and more.

Oh, I never pay attention to them! Besides, the OP's 5% CB on groceries doesn't top my BCP's 6%, which is my go-to card for grocery shopping.

I really should pay attention to the categories. I never did on BofA either, and then recently realized what I'd been missing by ignoring them. Live and learn.
