I am doing a BT of 4 cards over to my Discovery card and was wondering how long it usually takes to be completed?

So far it has taken a week, do they send you a notice of when it is completed to start your payment schedule?

I have found Discover to be relatively fast. I would estimate that it takes around 1 1/2 weeks.

But it also depends on who the lender on the other side is. I have found some of my lenders to be very slow in posting payments lately.

Thank you i am anxious to get 4 cards payed on and tactal discover quickly.

i also just paid off one baddie and should be removed with in 30 to 45 days be nice up tick on score.

When I did a BT to my Discover card, it took about four days. So pretty fast in my experience! But I wouldn't be too concerned about even up to a couple weeks, especially if you're transferring from multiple cards. I did not get any email once it was complete, only when I scheduled the BT.
