    <description>&lt;P&gt;Definitely replace the card, the process they follow should be identical to that they would follow if you were to report the card as lost with updated card number and CVV.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only issuer that I know of that can do funky things when a card is replaced due to being lost or having unauthorized charges is Synchrony, where they report the original account closed and report another account that is backdated to the same day that the original account was opened.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Usually such replacements are done transparently with regard to actions that could impact scoring.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even if something like that were to happen to you, it's a far lesser evil than continuing to have an open card known to have had unauthorized charges made against it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>X1 unauthorized online purchases</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received 2 emails yesterday from X1 that 2 transactions were denied for attempted &amp;nbsp;online purchases.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I immediately emailed them to tell them purchases were not mine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I locked card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;should I request a new card and number? If so how will affect my score?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
