      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is kind of frustrating.&amp;nbsp; Several months ago, I was checking out at cardcash.com and trying to pay with my AOD card when I got a notice at checkout about fraud being detected.&amp;nbsp; At that time, I switched to a different card (teared up a little at only getting 1% CB instead of 3%) and moved on.&amp;nbsp; I actually had no idea AOD locked the card.&amp;nbsp; They never alerted me.&amp;nbsp; The way we found out was when the kids asked why Netflix is not working.&amp;nbsp; We missed our auto payment!&amp;nbsp; I called AOD and I thought everything was straightened out.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Well, the other night, I went to make another CardCash purchase and, lo and behold, fraud detected!&amp;nbsp; Again, no communication from AOD that the account was frozen.&amp;nbsp; But this time I suspected it very well could be.&amp;nbsp; Yup - the next morning I got a text from Metro/T-Mobile saying my auto pay did not go through.&amp;nbsp; Arrgghhh.&amp;nbsp; I called AOD, straightened it out, and I was told that I shouldn't have a problem with CardCash purchases in the future.&amp;nbsp; Fingers crossed.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why the account freeze?&amp;nbsp; How about a text or an e-mail, even a phone call, asking if the purchase was being made by me?&amp;nbsp; And what is it with CardCash that AOD doesn't like??&amp;nbsp; I've received plenty of "Was that you?" e-mails over the years from different credit cards but very rarely an actual freeze.&amp;nbsp; I remember one time, many years ago, young and dumb, I was buying the same exact Christmas gift for multiple people and I wanted separate receipts so, yup, after about 3 or 4 purchases, the card stopped working.&amp;nbsp; Doh.&amp;nbsp; But that makes sense!&amp;nbsp; However, a single (attempted) purchase at CardCash freezes my card?&amp;nbsp; AOD obviously does that for their protection, not for the customer's benefit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't want to complain too much over this inconvenience, especially when I am lucky to have this card, but it just seems there is room for improvement in how AOD handles "detected fraud".&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anybody else have any stories of 'premature' card lock or similar, either&amp;nbsp;AOD or other?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

She just stopped using it there since obviously their algorithm is going to flag it every single time despite her being told it was fixed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They sent her no notifications either.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think I would overlook cardcash for getting 3% back at every other thing.&amp;nbsp; I have used AOD for big purchases in excess of 3k at best buy&amp;nbsp;over Internet&amp;nbsp;and got text and email asking if it was me said yep and went through and card worked fine as well afterwards so they do have a method to detect fraud.&amp;nbsp; They likely just have certain sites blocked as I believe they use PSECU or something like that for their card servicing and likely they have sites on their no good list as well as many CU's share things.&amp;nbsp; Just my guess and 2 cents about AOD as have been asked before by text/email so certainly exists.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;AOD has locked on a few occasions for me:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Donating to Ukraine&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Funding a bank account&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dell (kept cancelling order so had 3x transactions of same amount)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think one time I got some sort of automated message I was able to resolve myself, the other times I got a call/voicemail from the CC risk department.&amp;nbsp; Anyway if a transaction locks the card you can tell in the management website, the green "lock card" icon will already be angry red.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
