Does anyone have the Neiman Marcus store credit? What are the credit requirements for that store card?

I just have to say that this was one of my first cards right out of college along with store cards from all over the country as I immediately got a job requiring me to travel constantly to major cities. I ended up eventually closing all of them, as I moved frequently and it was a chore doing the addess change thing as this was just before online card websites.

Sorry for digressing. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. It's just nice to see a store name that never got assimilated into the Macy's Borg.

I have had the Neiman Marcus card for years. It used to be managed in-house and is now a Capital One store card. You can manage the card on the same site and/or app as other Capital One cards online. I like the free upgraded shipping and other perks (free gift wrapping, cash back, etc). Since I shop at Neiman Marcus I use the card often. It's my only store card besides the Macy's amex.

I don't think the card is that hard to get. I got it only two years past bankruptcy I believe (I am almost thirteen years past bankruptcy now) CLI are only once a year and you have to ask for them, but they are more generous than regular Cap One cards.

I'm trying to pay down credit cards so my utilization is above 40 percent but below 50% Credit score is hovering around 600 for all three bureaus. Working on cleaning everything up. But I just happened to see something about the card. I just got approved for a Capital One card. Just wanted to get numbers to know if its worth applying for a card from Neiman.

I would work on utilization before apping for the card.
