Got this email a little while ago. TL,DR With your United card get 10 UA miles/$ on gas or 5 UA miles/$ on Amazon.com or grocery spend on up to $1500 of purchases made between October 1 and December 31. May be targeted as the email includes an activation link and the T&C lists the last 4 digits of the card so not transferable.

I got the same offer as @coldfusion, on my Southwest priority card. 10x on gas, while generous, doesn't directly benefit me, an EV driver. DW will be pleased to see me gassing up her car for the next three months.

I got a similar offer on Amazon card with an additional 1% bump to restaurants and 3% at grocery stores.

I checked the site, and it's still showing me the current offer on my Amazon Visa (the offer that expires 9/30) so hopefully in a few days I can try again and the really good gas offer will be there for me as well.

It's weird... I've never received one of the emails, yet on my Amazon Visa using the link still usually works. (Not so on my Freedom or Freedom Flex, though.)

Very good deal for me with a few driving trips coming up. I got it on Chase Amazon. Plus I still have a 5% Chase Offer from Chevron on the same card that is good through October 4th.

Check your emails for Chase Amazon offers for the next quarter! The 10% on gas will be really nice (assuming Costco gas codes as gas)! The 3% categories may be nice but not of particular use to me since I use Custom Cash for groceries and I have several cards with 3% restaurants.

I wouldn't be so sure you can't get the Chase Amazon card. My bk is about half a year younger than yours is and I got approved in July. I had a fair amount of injuries. $6K limit. The prequel never worked for me so I just applied.

I don't think you have to wait until Oct to activate the offer, you just have to wait until Oct to benefit from the offer.

Now I have to figure out where the heck my physical card is! And I doubt I have one for my wife, crud! I linked this card to my Amazon login and placed the physical card who knows where who knows how long ago.

Using the 'generic' link (chase.com/mybonus) only shows the offer that's already active for the current period if you've activated it. In my case, using the Amazon-specific link chase.com/mybonus/ggaamazon1 showed the new upcoming offer.

That was my experience, anyway. For what it's worth, Chuck over on DoC reported having the same experience.
