    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, losing access while waiting for the replacement card was very strange!&amp;nbsp; I complained here, and found that others had done the same.&amp;nbsp; It all works out fine once the new card arrives, but still annoying.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For the OP, I agree with a complaint to the CFPB but that isn't going to be a superquick resolution (i.e. you probably will want to pay the $1000)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello I'm looking for any suggestion for my problem. In July i've had a double payment on my paypal mastercard statement, i should have paid 1000.44 instead it was 2000.88&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After that synchrony immediate told me they're going to refund the amount and i'll recieve a check in the mail. I actually never receive it and called multiple times and they told me they'll send a new one, it never happened. Today i discover they charge me for another 1000$ refund check on my card (check that i of course never receive it)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RIght now i lost 1000$ and i owe another 1000 to synchrony. All of that for charges i never made and i stopped using the card since july.I tried to speak with synchrony again but they only keep saying me that there was multiple mistake and wait, they only tell me to wait for the back office, but after 3 months the amount of money i lost is just increased. In the meantime i have to pay off the balance with more money otherwise it'll messed up my utilization again or worse if i don't pay. I feel powerless and i don't understand what i should do, should i get a lawyer? thanks in advance for a help or suggestions&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I recently had to contact them about 2 fraudulent charges on my account. Let's just say they didn't inspire confidence. I hate that everyone in customer service is off-shore, reading a script. They canceled the card and started the process of sending a new one. But I could no longer review charges on the website. And I can't access my recent statement anymore, but I was able to download all others. The card is quite good when it works well. But any contact with customer service makes me uneasy. I've grown too accustomed to good customer service from places like AmEx &amp;amp; Discover.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried and i can confirmit's not the fastest but time is not an issue after 4 months, either way they don't offer an actual solution as far they explain me they only work as the middleman without any guarantee. I'll suck up the loss even if it burns to lose 2k like that i'd prefer to have wasted it in a different way (specially becuase i don't understand what i've done wrong beside the first double payment)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Oh they're not even comparable with Amex i barely use it anymore after i switch to better ones i'd even close the card if it wasn't by far my largest line. I confirm a similar experience when they replace cards, you lose access to all your previous statement (you can request it by mail). It is a good card just terribile customer experience&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You should be able to ask for proof that the refund checks were cashed.&amp;nbsp; I guess that is where a lawyer might help, or try in small claims court.&amp;nbsp; You might also be able to ask for arbitration (probably forced to by the T&amp;amp;C).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;But if they are charging you for checks, they should be able to demonstrate that they were cashed, preferably by you (which they weren't).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;they are the absolute worst - they constantly put a security freeze on my payments forcing me to wait 21 days for an updated available balance. If this card didnt have one of the best uncapped 3% / 2% cash back rewards i would shut down the card.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Doesn't sound like the rewards are worth the aggravation.&amp;nbsp; On the bright side this kind of treatment seems normal for PayPal.&amp;nbsp; They are crooks on the traditional side, tons of nightmare scenarios over there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I tried to escalate my request for the refund and after they made me spoke with a supervisor (i'm still not convinced) and checked all the trasaction since january to be sure i have to receive the refund they sent me a confirmation email and text that i'm going to receive the check. they promised the same thing like 3 times before. Anyway the day after synchrony proceed to cancel all my accounts with them. The only new thing is myself keep pushing for my check in the last weeks. I know synchrony is prone to mass closing but now i know even less what to do for my refund&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
