Cap1 graduated secured platinum to QS after 5 years

Opened a capital one platinum back in 2017 when I started building. I put $99 down for a $200 limit. About 2 years in and never missing a payment cap1 upped the limit to $500 while still being secured. 5 years after opening they graduate the Platinum secured to QUiksilver (no annual fee) with $3,000 limit. I was worried they would never graduate this card. Happy 😃

Well that's great news, and makes me hopeful. It was one of my first cards, and while they have unsecured it over a year ago now, I'm still waiting for the upgrade graduation/ cli. It's been almost 5 years for me

Congratulations. I wish they would just be more transparent around timeline to graduate and timeline to give CLIs to bucketed cards. Have a Quicksilver stuck at 1k for a few years now.
