Is it normal to not receive a confirmation for the bread Cashback card?

I got a pre-approved offer on the mail for this card so I signed up on December 8th. The only confirmation I got was a text message to link the card to apple pay which I don't have. It's been 9 days and I haven't received the card yet but I know it can take awhile. I just can't find any other evidence that I've signed up for this card. For comparison, I signed up for the curve card on the 9th and received it 2 days ago.

It may take a while to receive new cards with the shortages/spply issues occuring right now. Do you happen to have online access to your account? If so I would send a secure message to Comenity to see what they have to say, or try their customer service number to see if they hae a status update on your new credit card

Thank you for your reply. I tried to register an online account but it requires the card number. I'll wait another week and see what happens.

I just received an email telling me my card was here and to activate it but my card hasn't arrived. I assume the email is time based and is under the assumption that I should have received it by now. At least I know it should be on the way now.

Right.

Capital One kept telling me to activate my new card. It got delivered about three weeks after these messages.

Plus you have Christmas volume with USPS...

There is no Comenity app for this particular card, unfortunately.

When you say "second card", are you wanting to add an authorized user or...?

I would call ask about getting a spare card.

Some issuers may allow multiple cards with the same PAN.

Discover gives one the option of having multiples.

Well, thankfully your doubts can be put to rest @NYC_Fella. It is possible. I've done so with a plethora of CCs (non-AENB) without any issues.

Though, the OP could wait a few weeks and request a replacement. But, this being an AmEx card through Comenity/CCB/BF not sure if the CVV or CID would stay the same, but the OP can update the thread with any DPs.

Some folks collect novelty/loyalty credit cards.

I may or may not be requesting certain NHL team cards from a certain issuer .
