Anyone ever PC from Cap1 QS to Savor?

Checked the upgrade link today and I'm only being offered Venture cards. Does this mean I'm simply never getting a Savor upgrade offer? My QS is a Mastercard, account is going on 10 years old.

Just in the past month or so a few people on reddit and one here on MF reported finally seeing the Savor One upgrade option. Seems to be for the time being the Savor (higher) upgrade is not an option but at least Capital One looks to finally letting customers upgrade to the Savor One version

what PC offers does your platinum have?

I'd check every month to see if one day you get a savor one or just close the card and apply for the savor one

The option to pc to savor one is a highly coveted upgrade that only a few have claimed to have been able to achieve with there being only one confirmed instance on these forums.

My dad just got off the phone with a representative and was advised that they currently do not offer an upgrade to the savor line but he would have the option to convert over to the venture line.

When he asked if the APR can be reduced, he was told that their system reviews accounts periodically and at some point he will receive a reduction in APR, but they no longer take on requests.

I only know of one member who's ever gotten an APR reduction from CapOne, @Aim_High, other than that, I've never heard of it.

There have been a few upgrades documented here and other boards. A few were targetted via email while others received the PC option online.

And, as the agent alluded on that particular conversation, any type of account changes are all systemically-driven. From time to time Capital One may offer temporary (e.g. 6 or 9 months) APR reduction for purchases if an account is eligible.

He had not received any CLIs in some time and I was wondering if his APR had anything to do with it, similar to Citi penalty pricing which prevents any product changes or credit line increases. So I asked him to request a reduced APR to see if it may help in 6 months time when he inevitably requests another CLI; it's not a bucketed card.

However, the representative did confirm they do not allow pc to the savor line, at least at the moment.
