Citi Dividend statements

Clearly whine time of the year for me! I am trying to calculate spend across all of my cards and banks (yes, before the year end summaries will make this easy!). Discover makes this very easy, having a YTD purchases, others I go through the statement. But, but.... Citi Dividend only has on-line Dec 2022 and Nov 2022. The others have to be requested in a process that can take 24-48 hours. I don't recall this before. Do those with Citi cards see at least a year's worth of statements, which I thought was pretty standard.

(And yes, I have used the card throughout the year)

Looked up online and I can download twelve statements.

Special request older statements 24 to 48 hours.

Lucky I didn't do a BEWARE CITI!!!! The rep explained that as the card was reported compromised and the number changed, only statements after the change are online.

I note this is an explanation and not necessarily a sensible policy

Can you access your transactions on the desktop website? I can see all of my Dividend card's transactions by selecting "Year to date" under the arrow for "Time Period". [Not clear if you tried this already, or just went to look at Statements.]

Same outcome with the transaction history, IIRC. I recall there was a glitch at one point but not sure if they fixed it. Maybe @Anonymous @can confirm.

Yes, thanks, transaction history is complete (the statements also appeared following my request). So, as I said, they provided an explanation (card had been replaced) but obviously not a particularly meaningful one as

a) transaction history is there (should have thought of this myself!)

b) and even if the card had changed, they were statements on the account, and should still be automatically available

I'm glad to hear that you were able to finally access the data.

I double checked my own transactions and found that I spent a little over $5900 with about 95% of the transactions in the 5% categories. A very effective rewards year by my definition. Now, if Citi would get around to announcing the 2023 Q1 categories...

Just chatted with a rep and he claims that the 1Q is 5% on Paypal. He tried to add the offer to my account but it didn't work (always a good sign) but he told me to call. Which I might do tomorrow!

Interestingly, there is a $75 earning cap on this offer, meaning the Dividend is moving away from its $300 a year model to $75 a quarter which is less useful.

My current Dividend card was originally a Forward. That was one of my favorite cards of all time. I think I maxed out the rewards cap every year before they nerfed it.

Agreed. I often used up most of the rewards cap in a single purchase. This year I spent over $4k on kitchen appliances during the Home Improvement quarter.

Thanks for the update. I don't have this card, but this newest detail helps me feel ever-so-slightly better about PC's to it no longer being available (as far as I know, anyway).

That said, if PCs were available I would *still* seriously consider changing my Rewards+ to a Dividend, even though it would mean giving up the 10% bonus on TYP redemptions.

So Dividend did just announce 1Q2023, Amazon and streaming services, but keeping the $300 a year. So I wonder if Paypal is a special offer on some accounts. I'll see if I can enroll on Jan 2

Sorry I left it so late in the day, I am sure nearly everyone has been waiting......

So I called. "Sorry, there isn't any paypal offer. JustiAmazon and Streaming Services" "That's strange, I was told last week that there was and I could join Jan 2" <pause> "OK, I found it"

She had to read the usual (quite long) verbiage and then enrolled me. The $75 is all statement credit rather than the dividend rewards (so you don't need to reach $50, on the other hand you can use this to reach $50 in that program!)

So, a DP. Choose if you want to go through the pain of calling Citi to see if this offer is on your account. Their menu system is from hell.
