Upgrade Credit Card feedback

Hello FICO Friends hope everyone is doing well. Anyway, I have a question on the Upgrade Cc does anyone give me some feedbacks on this credit card appreciate the info. Thks.

It doesn't report as a traditional credit card... it reports as a LOC. You can use it as a credit card or request draws to be transferred to your checking account.

There are much better cards out there... this one has high interest and I have one that doesn't see any use.

I saw reports where it seems it is difficult to not pay interest on these accounts.

Credit Karma has a $400 offer if you open up a new "credit card" and a checking account.

Between the generous intro bonus, the above average 2.2% cash back, the "EarlyPay", and my 'Excellent' approval odds (for what that's worth), I have had my eye on the upgrade Cash Rewards Elite Visa. AOD 3.0% won't last forever.

They offer a pre-qual too.

AOD might last forever since they clamped down fairly quickly.. Fingers crossed as approaching 3 years on mine I think

Nope not that I know of it is still 3%.. I just lost my card and hit replace today and disconnected my current account so can't pull up last statement, but was still 3% last I knew or heard just not available to applicants for quite awhile now..

I have this card /line of credit. 25K at 15% fixed. I think it's an excellent card. If you setup autopay you can avoid finance charges. I have the 2.2% cashback version and so far it's worked as expected.

Hey @CreditCuriosity , please let us know how your new card looks. I read somewhere that new/replacement cards are better looking than the drab solid dark blue original. Thanks.

How does the autopay work? Is it per purchase gets deducted from the checking account?

At the end of the month a statement is generated, the autopay occurs a few days later.

I have two of their cards, one with a $17.5K LOC and one with a $7K LOC. Both of them have interest rates that are FAR better than almost any other card I have, even better than my PenFed card which is 17.99% APR. The $17.5K card is at 14.97% APR and the $7K card is at $17.88% APR. Plus they are both cash back cards.

As has been mentioned, they aren't like traditional cards. Whatever you spend over the course of a billing period turns into basically a 3 year loan, so it will be paid back a lot faster than a traditional revolver would stretch out your re-payments. There is no penalty for paying early and as was also mentioned, if you have autopay set up, you won't have to worry about late fees.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Upgrade.
