Adding this after seeing posts. I am really not interested in other cards Amex etc. would love to hear from people that have actual experience with either the citi custom or US Bank Cash + card please.

Hello, after a really long hiatus from applying for credit cards, I may be coming out of retirement. I need rewards for streaming services. My personal picks are citi custom cash OR US Bank Cash +. Here is where I need your help. Which one is more liberal with streaming services. I stream many different services that I do not see listed in either of the terms/rewards sections. The list they give like Hulu Netflix etc. is that the only ones that they count? I subscribe to discovery + and Paramount + and Frndly, I do not see ones like these on the lists. What scares me is they use the phrase "select streaming services"

Any insight would help my decision. Thanks!

I just noticed ignore cards in signature I got rid of cash + before the whole streaming thing so I would have to apply again for it, my signature is old like me!!!

Amex BCE and BCP have a yearly $84 credit in the form of statement credit $7 monthly if you spend at least $13.99 on disney+ bundle. I will be using the BCE for this. I am not sure if you subscribe to disney+ bundle.

The Elan Max Cash is liberal with streaming services (none of that 'select') and is a clone of the US Bank Cash+, so presumably the same is true of that.

I have and use a Savor One (I'm an AU) that sees most streaming services as a bonus category with the exception of:

YouTube Premium
YouTube TV
Frdnly TV

Those I put on my BofA Customized Cash that has "Online Shopping" selected and BofA sees that as the bonus category. So I am able to get 3% on all my streaming services.

Consider a personal Amex Platinum.

1. $20 monthly (up to $240 annually) digital entertainment credit for: Audible, Disney+, The Disney Bundle, ESPN+, Hulu, Peacock, SiriusXM, and The New York Times.

2. A monthly credit for Walmart+...and Walmart+ includes Paramount+ (with ads for most things...they had Top Gun 2 without ads).

3. You already have a Gold and BBP, so presumably like MRs.

4. You already have a Delta Platinum, so presumably could use SkyClub access (no free guests, though...but there is the airfare extras credit on Platinum).

The BOA online shopping is interesting I am platinum honors or some such nonsense with BOA so I get the 75% more rewards. Thank you interesting.

Yeah don't use any of those streaming services. Plus will not pay over $600 for a coupon book card.

I knew that! Not a Walmart guy either I like target. Platinum really changed from when I had it years ago and it was mainly a travel card with travel perks.

Not exactly credit card related and doesn't cover OP's streaming services but I thought I'd throw it out there. If you have Citigold or Citigold PC, you can receive a $200 or $400 subscription rebate each year. Covers Prime, Hulu, Spotify, Costco membership, and a few others. I'm considering Citigold for at least the Prime rebate.

I think the US Bank/Elan cards are your best bet % wise. There are other cards that give 3% that will likely cover it, but its hard to know for sure as that info isn't usually publicly accessible.

Hopefully someone who has these cards can chime in & give data points for ya.

All this 'Paramount+, ads, no ads' stuff. There are two plans. They are both Paramount+. One is Paramount+ Essential (ads) and the other is Paramount+ Premium (no ads).

I get P+ Essential free ($50/yr value) with WM+ ($99 for the year). P+ Premium is $100/yr.

Did you check USB Altitude GO?

its a 2% on streaming but will give you a $15 credit on 12th month after 11 continuous months of charging on the card.

if you spend $300 in a year, its more like 2%+5%

if you spend more than that, you can check Altitude Connect. It has a $30 credit but a $95 annual fee

Yeah think i pretty much checked them all which is why I am asking about the two cards in the original post. I pay once a year so a reward for consecutive monthly payments are useless to me.
