I have a Discover Card with a balance of $7900 and a Merrick Bank card with a balance of $600.

I am looking for a new card to transfer these balances to and save on the interest. Any advice?

Current scores across the board are at 680

I received a mail offer from Chase Slate Edge, but no nothing really of this card or them and from what I see there is nothing special about it besides the 0% for 18 months

I got my Wells Fargo Reflect last year with slightly lower scores... 0% for 18 months and extends to 21 months with timely payments. It's where most of my CC debt is currently parked.

If you are planning to carry those balances for a while. You may want to look for a card that gives a flat apr on balance transfers for life.

NASA FCU did offer this, they may still. Though I'm not for sure. Hopefully there are other CU's that offer a similar option. I just checked and NASA still does this. They offer a SP approval link. https://www.nasafcu.com/?aspxerrorpath=/hbnet/login/login.aspx

I've become a big fan of US Bank over the years. Their approvals are slooowwwww lol. But they offer decent BT's on both personal and business CC's. US Bank pulls TU FICO 9.

Business CC's are easy to obtain with them. You can use them to hide balances or portions of balances from your personal credit reports when necessary.
