Is the UW for the gold and reward signature alot diffrent?

Im wanting two cards, 0% card for last mintue things and rewards card.

I was gonna go with Discover card for the 0% and rewards but since ive had a $5 saving

account with Penfed for over 10+ years, i thought i might have a better success with them.

Is the Gold the easier one and does the rewards card start at 5kcl since signature?

Can I appy for both cards with one pull?

Also want a SSL Loan, does penfed let you prepay to 8% and leave it there?

Can I apply for 2 cc and SSL with just one pull

since ive had a $5 saving account for a long time with them?

They usually do a pull for everything. I've been with them for 15 years. I had a checking and a savings only.....applied for account overdraft protection account, credit card and a personal loan all on the same day.....got 3 inquiries. I was approved for all 3.

If i already have a savings account does opening a free checking cause a HP?

Or if for wife, I open a new saving and checking account,

In my experience, it is just a SP for opening membership with a savings and to open a checking account.

I opened a savings account, premium savings account, and access America checking with no hard pulls for anything. This was all in the past year. I think they used to do HP but I don't believe that's the case anymore.

I also don't think they use chexsystems, because I have a fraud alert from BoA on mine which many other banks would not let me get an account, but PenFed would.

Any credit related products, overdraft protection - all of those will be a HP. Not sure if they reuse HP, but I wouldn't count on it. I am unsure of UW differences. I think their similar.. maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I don't know that you could get *all 3* of those things with one HP. Expect at least 2 HPs. For the CCs, you *may* be able to double dip and get two apps in on one HP. As for whether they'd actually approve both, well, that's profile-dependent.

As far as UW, I believe they have similar standards. The card with more stringent standards is the Pathfinder.
