Amex & US Bank credit consolidation

I'm interested in doing some credit "reallocating" from cards I don't use too much to ones I use a lot. I don't need more credit at all but if a soft pull will get me higher who cares.

US Bank Platnium (14,400) I wouldn't mind moving 10K to the Cash+ (20K) to make that 30K or get a CLI on the Platnium to 20K and move 10k to the cash+.

Is this possible? And what is the process for getting CLI's with US Bank sp, hp etc?

and for American Express I want to get my BCP to 30K (at 28,300) so I can do the same thing, I tried the CLI on the every day credit card, and they asked for bank statements for the past three months, which I'm gonna pause and wait to do another time. I also asked for three times the limit on the every day card to 30,000. 😈😐

US Bank does not do credit line reallocations, unfortunately. Language is always hard pull, but they do sometimes do them with soft pulls. I have had both since they rolled out SPs a few years back. I have never had luck with frozen reports.

BCP and ED you can do one reallocation per 31 days in any direction except business to personal, generally moving up to the minimum limit allowed on each card (sometimes as low as $500, usually $1000 to $3100).

So with American Express I'll be able to move the 1,700 to the BCP.

hard pull for any credit limit increase on any US bank. I'm not asking for anything in that case, but what do they pull?
I rarely use more than 500 on either card.

Depends on how much you have available on the donor card, and their minimum (likely $1000). You can transfer the available credit on their website in a few clicks.

No, many US Bank CLIs end up as SPs but they always have the HP language. They usually pull TU, but have also pulled EX on me.

I'ma be honest tho. I find with heavy usage (20-30%), Amex rolls out auto increases to me from time to time. I don't have the kind of open limits with them that you have, however its worked for me. They're my #1 favorite issuer
