Best use to get more credit increase possibility ?

Hi , What is the best use with credit cards to have more chances for a credit limit increase ? for example if use 10% or less. I start this year ask for some increases but im not sure what is the best way. My next trying is with Citi and Amex i need wait the 6 months. Thanks

It's not easy to discern that. There are wide discrepancies, even with the same lenders.

I haven't found Amex to really care about how much use you make of the card.

Citi has been a tough nut to crack, but it seems that some substantial use helps.

I would say as a general rule, the higher the use and the lower the monthly balance (or better still $0.00) is the best route to the land of credit increases.

The cards you have through Chase, Disco, Citi, Cap1 and Synchrony bank can all provide CLI (Credit Limit Increase) with SP (Soft Pull) therefore your cards can grow without hurting your score and labeling you as Credit Seeker.

The easiest way is usage and then every 3 to 6 months you can try CLI.

I have my cards on auto pay the statement balance, meaning they all get paid with no interest but they do report balance on the statement and credit bureaus.

Most of my cards started with low SL (Starting limit) and grow over time.

I try to use credit card for everything I can and treat it as debit card. Much more safer vs. fraud and helps grow your credit.

Your score is great, your credit card selection is great just be patient and watch it grow over time in garden! 🌱

Oh wait, we don't have Garden anymore 😥

My CLI request got shot down by Capital One for not using enough of what credit I had and I couldn't justify a CLI when I wasn't using much credit as it

I got a CLI from Wells Fargo Active Cash. I have 1 year PIF using my card but keeping it under 10%. The highest balance I've had on the AC card was $1560. I pay as I go never carrying a balance. I have 3 years credit card experience which has improved my credit rating. WF did an HP to determine giving me the increase I asked for.
