It's been a lot of fun watching the numbers grow over the past couple of months. I appreciate all those who participated. Only myFico members can go from having a $500 total available credit line one month to a $15,000 available credit line the next. I hope this thread give hope to all those who are just starting to build credit or who are starting over. With a little myFICO knowledge, having access to available credit will always be within reach. Thanks for participating. $10,007,645

The more significant question is, "What is your credit line as a percentage of your annual total gross income?". Raw CL totals don't mean that much. Somebody's $150,000 CL total if they make $250,000 is pretty good, but if someone has a $150,000 CL with a $50,000 income it is even better.

Anyway, my CL is $181,000, plus the undertermined line on my AMEX Gold Rewards which I've had up to $20,000 charged to it. Call it $200,000.

Only interested in total credit limits. Don't want to make it too complicated.

I have approx 320,000 across 50 accounts. My oldest account was opened in 1991. I've never asked for a credit line increase. Over the years as I paid on time, my limits were increased by the card issuers. I don't earn enough in income to support these limits if they were ever maxed out, but I use credit responsibly, and PIF so I'm not worried.

That includes the $4,500 that I still owe Amex on the OPEN account that they closed earlier this year. I believe I'm correct to include the $4,500 balance that I owe as if it was my CL. Their statements still show the last limit of $14,400 after the last CLD but the account shows closed so I assume if it reported on my CRs it would report at 100% util.
