Thank you for joining Aspiration’s mission to combat climate change by opening an Aspiration Zero credit card. As a member of the Aspiration community, you've been part of a movement using finance as a force of good.

While we’re proud of the impact achieved together, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue the Aspiration Zero credit card program, effective 30 days from today. This means that your Aspiration Zero account will be closed on May 3, 2023.

What you need to know:

Card Usage: You may continue to use your Aspiration Zero credit card until May 3, 2023. After that date, no new purchases will be accepted to your card.
Recurring Charges: Any recurring or automated charges will not be processed after May 3, 2023. Please update the payment source for any recurring charges prior to that date to avoid any missed payments.
Balance Repayment: You must continue making your minimum payment due each month on or before the payment due date to avoid late fees. However, you are not required to pay off your entire balance before May 3, 2023. You can continue to make payments through the Aspiration website or app, or by calling 877-559-0905.

Anyone got the email that Aspiration Zero will be closing their Credit Card after May 3, 2023? You don't have to pay the full amount if you have a balance but you still need to continously pay every month. This sucks, got a 20k Credit Limit. The card that Tony Stark AKA Iron Man supported is now closing. Oh well.

This thing was doomed from the start but it did serve a purpose, it put a price tag on what MyFicoer was willing to pay in the form of AF for utilization padding on a card that was never going to see outside of SD.

As you know , most Fintech cards are doomed from the beginning,

It is only a matter of time.

TBH this was a padding card that was socker-drawered and was only used for a cpl of monthly subscriptions to keep active. Loosing a $10.4K TL kinda sucks but shouldn't have too much of an impact on my overall CL's.

Time to work on some CLI's or new TL's 😅

was a pretty crap card, but unfortunate for less-experienced folks who didn't know that these fintech products can just disappear in a way that's uncommon for conventional lenders. hopefully losing the cl has no real impact to folks who got this card

I had a $10,000 limit and kept $0 balance for a year. I charged $2,000 on it and they closed it for me early. I cant use the card any

longer because they were afraid i was gonna max it out and not pay it back before May 3, 23 closure. Oh well. I bought what i needed anyhow
