You're in luck. Aspire purchase protection includes lost items.

Note that this is only found on a few of the higher-annual-fee cards from Amex.

Hi everyone,

I was staying at a rental place and I forgot a pair of sneakers I bought at a store a week ago there. I didn’t notice I lost them/probably left them at the Airbnb I was staying at until I was on my way to my next vacation spot. (paid by signing a contract of 2 weeks stay not through the Airbnb app). When I was on my way from France to Spain I noticed I didn’t have them with me. I asked the landlord if the cleaning team found any sneakers and they said “no”. They cost $695 and I’m wondering if purchase protection will cover this under “lost” item and if so what should I say to make sure they don't say it was not "reasonably Safeguarded" and then deny my claim.

I'm nervous because I saved 8 months trying to buy these sneakers and I hope I don't have to save up for another pair again.

I bought it with my Hilton Honors Aspire Card.

Thank you in advance everyone.
