What are you a magnet? This is nuts. Sorry again. This isnt the first time with PNC if I remember correctly. They were testing your account then whamo. Here comes the larger fraud charges. You have the worse luck @Jnbmom . Phones getting a workout. And your nerves.

Sometimes the type of charges, business charges were made at, and location (Geo) of charges can help narrow down the culprits.

Over the years the charges I've had to dispute as fraudulent came from 3 different sources: 1. A waiter I handed my card to copied the info and later tried to charge $500 at Walgreens online using their residential mailing address within the town the restaurant was I ate at. 2. Wendy's drive thru cashier copied my card info and used the free Wendy's wifi to buy shoes online. 3. One of my children swiped a card and made charges on it at the local ice cream shop.

Moving forward, I never let my cards out of my sight anymore. I won't eat places that won't let me watch them charge the card at the register.

Since I started doing that, I've had zero fraud charges in the last 2 years (knock on wood). 😉
