    <description>&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;a href="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/304521"&gt;@NoHardLimits&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;wrote:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;a href="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/304521"&gt;@NoHardLimits&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;wrote:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a new data point for Altitude Connect PCs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After my $95 annual fee posted last week, I called the phone number on the back of my Connect Card.&amp;nbsp; After less than a minute on hold, I was connected to a very pleasant customer service rep.&amp;nbsp; I explained that since I now had the Altitude Reserve card, I was no longer getting enough value out of the Connect to justify the $95 fee.&amp;nbsp; I asked if there were no annual fee cards that I could product change to and was presented with Platinum, Altitude Go, and Cash+ as my choices.&amp;nbsp; I chose to PC to Cash+ (which was the plan from the beginning).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The CSR read off a number of disclosures and confirmed that I understood them.&amp;nbsp; I inquired about the $95 annual fee, and she responded that it would be reversed.&amp;nbsp; The remaining rewards balance would be redeemed and issued as a statement credit.&amp;nbsp; I asked if the card number would stay the same, but she said it would change.&amp;nbsp; She then processed the PC and said that I should receive my new card in 7-10 days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Day of PC:&amp;nbsp; Website showed my credit limit intact, but my rewards balance dropped to zero with a status of "redeemed".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +1 day:&amp;nbsp; Website card graphics reflected the new Cash+ product.&amp;nbsp; Received text message to inform me that I would need to re-enroll in Real Time Rewards.&amp;nbsp; Was able to re-enroll online.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +2 days:&amp;nbsp; Redeemed rewards posted as a statement credit.&amp;nbsp; 5% categories available for me to select online.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The last 4 digits of the new account number were displayed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +5 days:&amp;nbsp; Received email welcoming me to Real Time Rewards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +6 days:&amp;nbsp; Physical card received in the mail along with 4 other envelopes!&amp;nbsp; Each envelope contained a different disclosure/confirmation (return envelope to destroy metal card; acknowledgement of the PC with explanation of rewards redemption; account number change and advice to update my new number with merchants for auto billing; changes in account terms for FTF fee).&amp;nbsp; Activated card online.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still in limbo:&amp;nbsp; Annual fee has not yet been reversed.&amp;nbsp; The website still describes my rewards program as Altitude Connect, but I have access to the Cash+ rewards page.&amp;nbsp; I will provide updates when these are resolved.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is my final follow-up regarding the timing of events for my PC from Altitude Connect to Cash+.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;During my previous data point update, I was waiting for two more events to take place.&amp;nbsp; These have now occurred.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +52 days:&amp;nbsp; All descriptions of the rewards program correctly reflect Cash+ (instead of the mish-mash of Altitude Connect and Cash+).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC +56 days:&amp;nbsp; $95 annual fee reversal posted (2 statements after the PC date).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you to all who provided reassurances that everything would eventually sort itself out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm glad everything worked "as advertised" for you!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just a note, don't be alarmed if from time-to-time you still see an occasional reference to the old Connect account.&amp;nbsp; After the most recent system update, I'm back to seeing the artwork for the Connect again on my converted card when using the website.&amp;nbsp; I'm not bothered as long as the card 'behaves' as a Cash+, which it does.&amp;nbsp; &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>US Bank Connect PC Experience</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Wanted to share my experience with product changing the US Bank Connect card earlier today since I couldn't find any about it. Figure it would interest a few people who might benefit&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The plan was always to PC the card to the Cash+ and didn't know what hurdles, if any, there would be doing that. Annual fee posted yesterday so called in and asked agent if I could change the card to a no annual fee card. She checked and provided three choices with one of them being the Cash+. She had to read a quick disclaimer that the number would change, they would send a post paid envelope to send the Connect back to be destroyed since it is metal-ish, and could not change it back once processed. After I said yes she confirmed change and new card would be in the mail in 7-10 days. After hanging up I did have to call back to see if the AF would be refunded and after a quick hold to double check the agent confirmed it would be refunded&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All and all a relatively quick and painless process which is always nice&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I plan to PC this card soon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here are more questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;After receiving the AF notification, how long do we have to request PC to avoid paying AF or reimburse it (US Bank may allow &amp;gt;1m)?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Also, is it feasible to upgrade it to Altitude Reserve (with SUB)?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS: My Connect card is by chance plastic. Not sure the benefit of metallic cards (maybe for environment), but they make the wallet heavy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am presuming you have a month from when it is posted to get the full refund for the AF. The reason I say this is because when I called back to ask about it the agent said I would still have to pay it even with the PC. When I made it a little clearer it just posted the day before and didn't mind paying the balance she placed me on hold to ask her supervisor. She came back and said it would automatically be refunded. If you plan to hold on to the card beyond the billing statement the AF posted for whatever reason I would ask them to get clarification on that question&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="lia-align-left"&gt;If you plan to upgrade it to the Reserve I am pretty confident you will forfeit the SUB doing so just like I am forfeiting the Cash+ SUB with my product change. Only way I have seen upgrades coming with a SUB is AMEX with their upgrade offers. Other banks AFAIK have you not be eligible for the sign up bonus&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To be honest I had forgotten about the AF coming up on the Connect til I saw it post when checking my Socks Bank cards online, so it wasn't even an option for me. It might be possible to do it before it posts but better to play it safe. That is unless you want to become a datapoint for us all lol&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I just got off the phone and a new Cash+ will be in the mail shortly. &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My choices for a PC were the Cash+ and Altitude Go, and of course I went with the Cash+ (which is what I wanted the entire time, anyway).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The other stuff is just the same as &lt;a href="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/991092"&gt;@simplynoir&lt;/a&gt; experienced (same script)... card number changing, verify mailing address, etc.&amp;nbsp; All-in-all a very efficient phone call; I was probably talking to the rep for less than two minutes total.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Before hanging up I asked about the annual fee on the old card (which posted last night) and she said that she could take care of it and I waited while she did some typing.&amp;nbsp; Possibly this is something that would have been completed later had I not asked, but in any case folks doing a PC might want to bring it up.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like I mentioned the call was rather quick, but I think (?) she said my existing rewards would be transferred over to the new account.&amp;nbsp; In my case it's less than $3 so it's not a big deal either way, but I'll confirm later if this was the case.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Side note:&amp;nbsp; I just checked my online dashboard, and the account is now showing up with $0 credit line on the old account number, and there's no new account number showing up yet.&amp;nbsp; This might be normal, but it's strange and I'll feel better once everything is settled.&amp;nbsp; (I'm not in the mood to have to fight with them over an account closed in error, hopefully that's not the case.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

When I had called back to ask about AF I wanted to know what card they saw and they said the Cash+ on their screens. What made it weird though is that even now it still show the Connect images and on account information shows Connect as well. But the rewards system went to cash like you and rewards page shows the same so kinda weird lol&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Re: AF I guess I may have to call them back sooner than I thought if that is the case. I'll do it later today and report back on it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hmm... hopefully I don't have a problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only thing that makes me think it might be OK is that in addition to the credit limit being $0 my statement balance has updated to be $0 and the due date now is dashes, with $0 as the mininum due amount (I think it was previously $40 or thereabouts) - the account balance at the top is still showing the same as before (just over $100).&amp;nbsp; I'm thinking that if the account was closed in error there would still be a payment due.&amp;nbsp; Interestingly, there's no sign of rewards at all. 🤔&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it's not showing me the new account number by tomorrow I'll give them a call back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(The one thing I didn't think to ask is if the old card would continue to work while the new one was being mailed, but I don't think I want to try it anyway... this is complicated enough as it is.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

(this is like watching a soap opera unfold, LOL).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rewards went to $0 (not a big deal, was only ~$3 anyway) and now when I click the link to check the rewards it takes me to the standard landing for a Cash+, but the website &lt;EM&gt;still&lt;/EM&gt; shows the card as an Altitude Connect.&amp;nbsp; 🤔 If I was only checking the app things would look perfect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, just a couple of hours ago the $95 AF was credited back.       <description>&lt;P&gt;In today's episode of "As the &lt;STRIKE&gt;World Turns&lt;/STRIKE&gt; PC Lingers"...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Overnight I got another statement credit, this time for the ~$3 in unredeemed rewards from the old card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The dashboard is still showing a mish-mash of info for Connect and Cash+, but I'm thinking that's just because the physical Connect card is still active (I'm assuming it is, anyway... haven't tried it, though).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm still waiting on the new physical Cash+ card to arrive in the mail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
