Capital One Savor card upgraded to WEMC, renewal card says WMC

I'm wondering if anyone had a similar situation. My Savor Card was upgraded to WEMC in February 2020. I was never notified and happened to notice the upgrade on my statement. Called CS to confirm. Fast forward to now, I received my renewal card and it's a WMC. I called CS and they confirmed my account is a WEMC, but can't do anything about the physical card.
Has anyone experienced this?

What was it before WEMC? WMC? Switched back?

It was a WMC and it was upgraded to the WEMC around February 2020. Customer Service confirmed it's still a WEMC.

I'm wondering if the fact that my card is metal and that I'm a legacy cardholder (no AF) has anything to do with the fact that my renewal card comes as a WMC and not a WEMC.

That's what I'm thinking.

My QS was a WMC then got upgraded to WEMC when all the others did. They didn't send a new card or anything. I was able to PC to SavorOne and it came with "World Elite" written on the card.

I bet that has something to do with it. No doubt that it is a WEMC with whatever benefits come with that. They've probably never made any metal ones that say that. They're using up the last of the metal cards and sent you one since that's what you had originally.
