Hi,

Last year I applied for the Quicksilver card. The one for good credit. I was instantly approved as I have FICO8's all over 750 with a spotless report. I have Amex and Disco with 20k limits and several others with healthy limits. I shouldnt have expected anything less when capital one gave me a $500 limit. It had a $200 bonus after spending $1k in 3 months. There was even a space on the app showing how much more I had to spend to reach the bonus. Once I reached the spending goal that disappeared and here were are a year later I never got that bonus. Not surprised at all. I never even called and asked about it, I figured I was bucketed.

Today I recieved an email saying "Congrats, You've been upgraded to a World Elite Mastercard because you're such a great customer." It didnt come with any limit increase. Just a few extra benefits. I have no idea what this is. Has anyone ever seen this? What does this mean? Could I be unbucketed dare I say? I doubt it too. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this.

They just started converting everyone to world elites. Doesn't affect bucketing. Also, why wouldn't you call about $200?

this version doesn't come with a bonus

the card is very likely bucketed, and based on your other limits, just close the card tbh

I was very careful to make sure I applied for the one WITH the bonus. As I said it had a spending countdown section on the app.

I thought it might take a few billing cycles to recieve the bonus. By that time I had lost interest in the card and had given it to my daughter.
